A lot of us have experienced a yeast infection (thrush) at some point. But how we can prevent this with how we eat? We explore some foods that will help fight off yeast infections and protect your vaginal health and balance.

  1. Garlic

WHY

Garlic is anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antibacterial, so is brilliant for preventing thrush. Allicin is a compound that forms when garlic is crushed or chopped. This compound prevents the overgrowth of fungi and bacteria, so is thought to protect against thrush. Allicin is damaged by heating — so for the best results it is best to eat garlic raw.
