This week we were joined by the wonderful Sarah Laver, who will discuss the role of nutrition, lifestyle and more for fertility. 

Sarah is now a BANT Registered Nutritionist and Registered Nutritional Therapist, specialising in assisted conception support and fertility. She is the founder of The Embryologist Nutritionist, helping couples, and single females, regain control of their fertility, and maximise their chances of a healthy

pregnancy. Sarah highlights some of the easy swaps you can make in order to not just optimise your fertility, but to improve your general health and wellbeing.

Sarah takes a holistic view of a couple, or client’s, situation and, together, they create a bespoke, personalised plan that works for them and their needs. Therefore Jess and Sarah discuss some of the wider changes you can make to your lifestyle in order to optimise fertility.

Fertility is not just related to the women involved. Sarah and Jess discuss the role that the sperm has to play and what can be done to optimise sperm quality.

Sarah’s background:

After working as a clinical embryologist in IVF clinics for many years, seeing couples struggling with their fertility, Sarah was driven to find alternative ways to support them on their journey. Through studying Psychology, and Personalised Nutrition, she discovered the transformational impact that diet and lifestyle changes can provide, especially when behaviour change is supported. She is now on a mission to share her knowledge, supporting those trying to conceive. Sarah details how her passion and background in Psychology has really helped her to connect with clients and help them through their indivual journeys.

It’s no secret that nutrition has an impact on your health and wellness, so of course this will also affect your fertility. Sarah provides an understanding as to why this is so important, and provides some easy changes that can be made in order to really optimise your chances.
