Rowena Gledhill is a professionally trained and insured reflexologist, running her private clinic from a secluded, tranquil cabin in her garden in Dorset. She set up Weymouth Bay Reflexology in 2016, shortly after graduating with a Level 3 VTCT qualification in Reflexology.
Rowena is also a certified Repro-flexologist, after undertaking specialist training with the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists. In the past two years, she’s developed her understanding of the peri-menopause with further expert training and is using all of her knowledge to broaden her holistic support for people going through what can be a challenging stage of life.
Rowena’s experiences trying to conceive over 18 years ago with ‘unexplained infertility’ led her to supporting others with reproductive issues. ‘We’d been given very little information about what we could do to help ourselves and after several investigations including surgery, thought we’d never have children. However, we tried several different approaches, including reflexology and were delighted to discover that we were pregnant, actually on my birthday — the best gift ever.’
Her initial interest in reflexology ultimately led Rowena into training professionally as a reflexologist. Reflexology for fertility is for people who have cycle issues (PMS, PCOS, fibroids), those struggling to conceive, as well as for anyone undergoing IVF treatments, and further on into managing peri-menopause and the changes that can bring.
