This week we have Rachel Sherriff on the show! Rachel is an acupuncturist who set up The Fertility Suite in Surrey. She is really passionate about fertility, and women’s health and walks us through what we need to know about how acupuncture can help you to achieve your goals.

Rachel describes how acupuncture works, before expanding in to how this specifically can work for those struggling with their fertility. Rachel takes a holistic approach via The Fertility Suite – whereby she really delves in to the individual needs and concerns of each of her customers. This includes bespoke acupuncture, nutrition, reflexology, functional medicine, and more.

Rachel and Jess also discuss more generally the need to really open up conversations around fertility and women’s health. They stress the need to integrate support and care into our health systems, which many feel is lacking. There truly is so much space for empowering people with knowledge, signposting them to the correct experts, and working with them to help them to achieve their goals. This is something both women are really passionate about, and hope to see expand as the fertility field continues to grow. It is no longer good enough to simply write people off as ‘unexplained infertility’ or to not explain test results – Rachel and Jess discuss how they both work to fill these gaps and provide the care that people truly need. Rachel explains how she prioritises this at The Fertility Suite, and works hard every day to create a space where women feel heard.
